Fred Poole
With 25 years in aviation and a wealth of experience spanning skydiving, fixed-wing piloting, and commercial hot air ballooning, I bring a unique and comprehensive perspective to the Balloon Federation of America. My company, Champagne Sunrise, has safely introduced hundreds of passengers to the joys of ballooning and has been a pillar of community outreach in Meridian, Mississippi.
As the General Manager of Peavey Electronics, one of the world’s largest manufacturers of musical instruments and professional audio equipment, I have honed my skills in managing large organizations and driving growth. This expertise, combined with my familiarity with high-participation organizations like the United States Parachute Association (USPA), the Professional Association of Diving Instructors (PADI), and the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA), positions me to significantly boost BFA membership and engagement.
I am passionate about aviation, both lighter-than-air and fixed-wing, and committed to fostering a vibrant, inclusive, and growing community within the BFA.
